Dartford manager Tony Burman in transfer talks with several strikers

Dartford may head back into the loan market to solve their striker conundrum.
The Darts finished last season with loanees Charlie Sheringham and Jason Prior as two of their three recognised centre-forwards.
Danny Harris and Nathan Collier, who can both play attacking roles, have signed new deals at Princes Park but neither are likely to lead the line next season. Jacob Erskine was released in April.
Dartford manager Tony Burman said: “I’ve got to bring players in up front. I am talking to forwards but I’m being patient with that situation.
“If the loan situation comes up, I would seriously consider it but it might not happen before the start of pre-season. I’m meeting with three or four players this week. I’ll have a chat with them.
“I’ll start sowing the seeds and I’m not ruling out anything just yet.”
Burman insisted “things are going to plan” regarding his transfer dealings, with five new players having arrived at the club so far this summer.
The Darts boss is looking for one more defender and wants a squad of 18 by the time the season starts on August 10.
