Former Gillingham goalkeeper Jason Brown has left Dartford by mutual consent.
Brown, 32, made 30 appearances for the Darts in the Vanarama Conference although a hamstring injury ruled him out of the last few weeks of the season.
He was the victim of racist abuse at Bristol Rovers on October 7 - the cuplrit was later hit with a three-year banning order - and Brown also had to cope with the death of his father a couple of months later.
Dartford's 3-1 defeat at home to Woking turned out to be Brown's final game for the club.
Manager Tony Burman said: "There were some problems away from football, with his father passing away, and then injuries at the end.
"Jason's been professional and he was a good signing for us last summer.
"Unfortunately, things do happen which affect players' performances and I think the loss of his father did that.
"But he's been fine and I've got no problems with Jason whatsoever."
