Tony Burman opens contract talks with Dartford players

Contract talks have started at Dartford and manager Tony Burman is hopeful most of his squad will sign on for another season at Princes Park.
The Darts boss has the unenviable task of releasing some players, while he has also drawn up a list of summer transfer targets.
But retaining the core of the side which performed so well in Conference Premier this season is Burman’s immediate priority.
He said: "This next two weeks is a difficult time for players. They want to know what’s happening and managers have to make decisions.
"We feel we’re going to have to improve next year and I’ll be doing the best I can to keep the nucleus of the squad.
"I’ve asked them – when they do come in to see me – that if they can’t commit, make sure they say that before we start talking.
"The majority of them want to stay but it’s got to be right for them and it’s got to be right for us. Hopefully they’ll start to sign for me. I don’t want it to drag on."
