Dartford have signed striker Warren Mfula after a trial period.

The 27-year-old scored 44 goals last season for AFC Croydon Athletic in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division.

He has featured in all four of Dartford's pre-season friendlies so far and scored the winner at Phoenix Sports on Saturday.

Dartford manager Tony Burman said: "I have decided to add Warren Mfula to the squad.

"He has shown a good attitude and willingness to improve and after an excellent season last year at Croydon Athletic of scoring goals, I think I want to give him an opportunity to play at a higher level."

Mfula played 45 minutes of Dartford's 1-0 home defeat to Sutton United on Tuesday.
