Dartford's Harry Crawford relieved to score his first goal of the season in Vanarama Conference against Eastleigh

Harry Crawford hopes his late equaliser for Dartford on Tuesday will kickstart his season in front of goal.
The 22-year-old, who rejoined the Darts in July, scored in stoppage-time to earn his team a 2-2 draw against Eastleigh. It was his first goal of the season, at the seventh attempt, and it was the first time Crawford had scored at Princes Park since December 2012.
He said: "I’d like to have got it earlier in the season but it’s here now and hopefully I can push on.
"We’ve got (fixtures on) Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday, so the games are coming thick and fast. Hopefully the goals will too.
"I knew I was going to score at some point so I wasn’t anxious at all. I knew what I was capable of, I knew I could score and thankfully it came when we needed it."
Five of Crawford’s seven appearances this season have come as a substitute. He’s often had to play second fiddle to Andy Pugh and Tom Bradbrook.
"It has been a little bit frustrating," he admitted. "But I’ve kept my head and kept working hard because I knew my chance would come. I took it on Tuesday."
