The annual battle for cross-country glory was held on Saturday - and the Kent Messenger Group’s Barry Goodwin was at Brands Hatch to capture the action.
Tonbridge AC’s James Kingston retained his Kent senior title in 38min19sec, beating his 2023 time by more than a minute, while Cambridge Harriers’ Holly Dixon (31.27) won the senior women’s crown by 47sec.
As usual, there were 10 races held over five categories with under-20, under-17, under-15 and under-13 runners hitting their stride along with the seniors. Ashford's Jack Small and Blackheath & Bromley Harriers' Hannah Clark ran away with the under-20 honours, while Invicta East Kent’s Noah Paterson won the under-17 men’s title with B&B’s Eliza Nicholson the women’s winner.
Under-15 wins went to Blackheath & Bromley’s Joseph Scanes and Weald Tri’s Sophie Richmond, with Tonbridge duo Luca Szumilewicz and Purdey Hutchings the under-13 champions.
