Dartford face a stern test of their play-off credentials this Saturday when they travel to free-scoring Sutton.

Two of the National League South’s form teams go head-to-head on the 3G pitch at Gander Green Lane with both harbouring serious promotion ambitions.

Sutton are third, having won six of their last seven, while fourth-placed Darts boast an 11-match unbeaten run stretching back more than three months.

Manager Tony Burman said: "It will be a real test for us to see how far we’ve come in a short space of time.

"Sutton were one of the clubs tipped for the play-off positions at the start of the season and they’ve been on a similar run to what we’ve been on.

"I’ve seen them play a few times and they are a good side, but we’ve got to exploit what we consider to be their weaknesses.

"They’ve got some experienced players and we know it’s going to be a tough game but these are the games you want to be involved in. We’re just behind Sutton and we’re looking forward to a very good game of football.

"We’ve had some good tests and our away form is very good. We’ve had some good games against the top teams, we’ve been well-organised and well-drilled and we’ve managed to get results."
