Ryan Hayes says Dartford’s FA Cup win at Tonbridge was a job well done.
The winger had a part to play in the first and third goals to get past a stiff hurdle in the shape of the in-form Ryman League Premier Division hosts.
Hayes said: “We were massively pleased to get through.
“We knew it would be a tough game, but we were very professional and are over the moon to be in the next round. It was a difficult start for us, but we weathered the storm in the first 15-20 minutes.
“I put Danny Harris in down the line for the first one, and he has put a great ball into the box and we managed to score, go in 1-0 up, and then cracked on in the second half.
“The two goals really killed the game off and it was all us after that. We feel we have come here and done a job. We might have not as been as good on the ball as in the last couple of weeks, but we have come and won 3-0.”
