Lee Noble says working under new joint-managers at Dartford has been a breath of fresh air this summer.

The midfielder spent 10 years playing for Tony Burman but is now coming to terms with a different approach.

Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan have come in with their own methods and ideas and Noble welcomes the change.

He said: "It was interesting hearing what they had to say and how they wanted to move the club forward, which was a breath of fresh air.

"I always knew Coylie was going to be a good coach from when I played with him and with the style they're trying to bring in, training has changed.

"I've been used to doing things a certain way over the last 10 years but they've come in with a different approach which has been quite interesting."

Ryan Hayes and Danny Harris moved on when Burman resigned but Noble and Elliot Bradbrook signed new deals.

"I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else," Noble said. "The club have always been good to me and I didn't see any reason to start talking to anyone else.

"If they didn't want me, I would have had to think about things but Dartford will always be close to me so I don't think I'll leave until I retire.

"I was shocked when Tony went. I imagine it was hard for him to make the decision and I don't think anyone really wanted to see him leave but maybe it was in the club's best interests to let someone else step in."

Noble has a slight calf injury but is hoping to play again before the season starts on August 4.
