Dartford manager Ady Pennock has made his first signing since taking charge at Princes Park.

Pennock has moved to bring striker Jordan Greenidge back to the club on a deal until the end of the season.

The Darts have scored just seven goals in their last eight matches so it’s little surprise that Pennock has earmarked more firepower as a matter of urgency as they bid to move away from the National League South danger zone.

Pennock said: “I’m pleased to make my first signing and to welcome Jordan back to Dartford.

“He will provide another option in attack and hopefully score some important goals for the remainder of the season.”

Greenridge, who had a spell on loan with Dartford at the end of the 2021/22 season under Steve King, is no stranger to National League South football.

He moves from Tonbridge Angels, having agreed to terminate his contract at Longmead early.

Pennock relishing challenge at Dartford

Greenidge scored 17 times in 28 games for Tonbridge during a successful loan spell from Hemel Hempstead last season but never quite recaptured that form having made the move permanent this term, netting nine times in 30 outings.

Greenidge is expected to make his Dartford debut at Torquay on Saturday.
