Dartford have pleased with fans to stick to the guidelines ahead of their pre-season match with Dover on Tuesday night.

Darts are one of four National League clubs hosting spectators as part of a wider programme to pilot the safe return of fans at sporting fixtures.

They've got the go-ahead from all the local authorities but now need the fans to play their part.

A club statement said: "This is a huge responsibility, not just for the club, but also for all our supporters.

"We all need to step up to the plate and show that not only can the club and its employees ensure the safety of such a number of people, but that our supporters can demonstrate that they understand the measures put in place and are willing to abide by those restrictions.

"We appreciate that attending games for the foreseeable future is going to be different, but it is vitally important that the National League starts on the October 3 as planned.

"We need our fans to play their part. It is therefore incumbent on all of us to play our part and ensure that we have a full capacity of 1,000 and that so we can show the relevant authorities that Dartford FC and the Vanarama National League are fully prepared for the return of spectators."

Anyone experiencing or has experienced in the last 48 hours any of the covid-19 symptoms – high temperature, continuous cough, loss of taste and smell - must not attend the game under any circumstances.

Seating will be available to purchase online but is limited, on a first come first served basis. Terracing areas are not restricted apart from areas that are marked with yellow tape, people must ensure they are socially distanced at all times apart from when in a social bubble.
