Dartford are just one point from safety in Skrill Premier after they drew at Lincoln on Saturday.

There were no goals at Sincil Bank but this result could prove to be vital for Dartford in their survival bid. Aldershot and Hereford, the two teams immediately above Tony Burman's side, both lost on Saturday, meaning this was a point gained for the Darts.

And they might even had brought all three back to Kent, had Lincoln keeper Nick Townsend not pulled off a brilliant save to keep out Jim Stevenson's close-range volley.

The Imps had good chances in the second period, Sean Newton going close from a free-kick and captain Alan Power firing wide after being set-up by Birmingham loanee Koby Arthur.

Dartford, who had on-loan striker Alex Wall recalled by Luton prior to the game, failed to create any clear openings in the second half.

But they know the Great Escape is still on ahead of Thursday's huge home game against Grimsby Town.
