Dartford joint-boss Jamie Coyle was pleased with their fast start against lowly Weston on Saturday.
The Darts ran out 2-1 winners in National League South on Saturday, taking an early lead through Lee Noble before Jamie Philpot's second-half winner.
"It’s one of our best starts to a game this season," reflected Coyle.
"Amadou Ba was through on goal if the keeper didn’t handle it outside the area so it was a potential red card (referee showed a yellow card).
"Then Ben’s hit the bar from the free-kick, and then we've scored. The positives are we created some really good chances and should have scored more goals.
"On the other hand, you’ve got to look at it both ways and they’ve hit the bar two or three times so defensively we looked a little bit shaky from set pieces and gave away too many free-kicks in the final third.
"We should have done better with the chances that we had. The way things have been going recently for us you take the three points whatever way it comes."

Coyle felt Dartford's lack of confidence was the main reason behind them dropping off towards the end of the first half and allowing Weston back into the contest.
"They had three in midfield and it was hard to get tight to them, they played some good football at times through the thirds and we struggled a little bit with that," he said.
"We lacked (playing on the) front foot to kill the game off and I think if we were a bit more positive after that first goal we could have got two or three more and potentially killed the game off.
"But we sat back and unfortunately you can see our confidence at times isn’t at the highest point but through winning games like that it will gradually build and that’s what we’re hoping for."
Coyle also highlighted midfielder Noble for praise after he occupied a position wide in midfield - to combat the attacking threat of Weston left-back George Nurse.
"Lee Noble played out of position," said Coyle. "Wherever you ask him to do a job, he does it.
"Their left-back is one of the main threats they offer and it was a case of stopping him going forward and tracking his movements, and we kept him really quiet.
"We watched their FA Cup game and he was brilliant. It’s good we kept him quiet."
