Dartford could welcome back several key players for their National League South double-header over the weekend.

Elliot Bradbrook, Andy Pugh and Ronnie Vint are all getting closer to fitness and could feature against Hungerford at Princes Park on Saturday.

If that game comes too soon, boss Tony Burman will need fresh legs for the trip to Hampton & Richmond on Bank Holiday Monday.

He said: "We’re keeping our fingers crossed. They were in on Monday night and they’ve all got at least a 50-50 chance of being involved in one of the games.

"I’ve got to make some decisions. To be fair to the guys who played last Saturday, they all did well.

"I lose Tom Bonner through suspension for Saturday’s game but Keaton Wood comes back in. We’re still short but we may have a stronger bench than we’ve had.

"Lee Noble has done brilliantly to get through the majority of the games. He’s playing with a niggly injury.

"It might give me the chance to give him a rest because I don’t think he can do the
two games over the three days."

Dartford’s fit players were given the night off training on Monday following a run of five matches in 15 days.

Goals from Luke Wanadio and Ryan Hayes earned Darts a 2-1 success at Weston on Saturday – their first win of the season.

Now come two games against newly-promoted teams, with Hungerford – playing at this level for the first time – starting the weekend fourth.

Burman said: "They’ve had a real good start. That sometimes happens with teams going into new leagues but they had a defeat last Saturday so they’ll probably want a reaction. We want to worry about ourselves, nobody else.

"We’ve had five games and we haven’t done a lot wrong. The atmosphere around the changing room and the support on Saturday was excellent.

"It’s a good thing if a few of us are feeling that."
