Dartford FC joint-boss Adam Flanagan on the trip to Eastbourne Borough

Joint-boss Adam Flanagan is refusing to get ahead of himself as Dartford face a make-or-break Easter in the hunt for a play-off spot.
Darts dropped out of the top seven after a fifth National League South game without a win last Saturday.
All eyes are on Easter Monday’s crunch home clash with sixth-placed Billericay but Flanagan is not looking beyond Saturday’s trip to Eastbourne.
“It could potentially come down to the Billericay game at home but we can’t look at that, we’ve got to look at Eastbourne away,” stated Flanagan.
“They are fighting for their lives in the league so it will be a challenging game but we’ve got to show the right attitude and mentality.
“We can’t look to the Monday until we get Saturday out of the way. Yes, Monday is a big game and I live in Billericay so it’s even bigger for me – but we can’t take our eye off Eastbourne.”
Elliot Bradbrook limped off with a calf injury last weekend, stretching Dartford’s depleted resources even further.
Flanagan said: “In the last week we’ve gone from leaving two players out of the squad to having three under-18s on the bench if Elliot is out. No other team in the play-offs will have that.
“We can all feel sorry for ourselves but we’ve got 11 players we can put out there and if they show the commitment and passion they showed against Chippenham, I think we’ll stand a good chance in the three games we’ve got left.
“We had favourable fixtures through March and didn’t get the points return we needed. We’ve come up short again in April and it’s not what Jamie Coyle and I thought would happen.”
Charlie Sheringham (ankle) could yet feature in the last three games, while Darts were hoping Ronnie Vint (knee) and Mark Onyemah (knee) could return to training this week with a view to featuring at Eastbourne.
