Dartford have extended Malachi Napa's loan deal for a further month.
The 23-year-old winger has settled in well after a slow start since joining the Darts from National League Wealdstone in December.
Alan Dowson has worked with Napa before and, while acknowledging his work-rate to the team, the Dartford boss has been keen to get Napa doing what he does best.
"We've extended it for another month so we're pleased about that," said Dowson.
"He needed minutes (when he came), he's been working ever so hard tracking back but we've got him in the team to cause problems in the final third and in the last couple of games he's done that.
"He works ever so hard, gets behind the ball and helps the team out. But we said that we've signed you to run at people and he's done that in the last couple of games so I'm pleased with him.
"When you get these quality players from higher up, you get them for a reason. It might be that they're not quite fit enough or they've had an injury, just how we let players go.
"The first couple of games I thought he was sluggish but the last couple of games he's done really well."
Speaking earlier this month, Napa was keen to stay at Princes Park.
“I’d love to stay longer as I am really enjoying it but we’ll have to see what happens,” stated Napa.
“The set-up here is very good and it’s been enjoyable. The boys have made me feel welcome around the whole set-up.”
National League South leaders Dartford, who visit Ebbsfleet on Tuesday night in the Kent Senior Cup, are at home to Hemel Hempstead in the league this Saturday.
