Welling United have signed former Dagenham and Redbridge keeper Chris Lewington.
The 27-year-old had been a free agent after finishing last season playing for Margate in Vanarama National League South.
Before joining the Blues the former Dagenham No.1 had been without a club since leaving Colchester United in the summer of 2015 and jumped at the chance of regular first team football at Hartsdown Park.
He was manager Nikki Bull's first signing after succeeding Terry Brown in December and his early displays quickly earned him an extended deal until the end of the season.
Lewington, who began his career at Charlton as a 13-year-old, had short spells at Dulwich Hamlet, Fisher Athletic and Sittingbourne before joining Leatherhead.
His performances at Leatherhead earned him a Football League move to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he made 127 appearances in five years.
After leaving the Daggers, Lewington linked up with Colchester in League 1 but was released in the summer of 2015 after making just one appearance.
