Accident on the A258 Deal to Dover Road

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital with chest pains following a head on collision on the A258 Deal to Dover Road.
It is believed the accident occurred near the Ringwould junction after a car pulled out, forcing another vehicle onto the opposite side of the road.
Firefighters from Deal were called at 12.23pm believing persons were trapped, but it was a false alarm.
Ambulance and police also attended the incident.
Casualties from both cars have been taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
