Andy Hessenthaler looks for Dover Athletic to keep their form going in Kent derby against Bromley

With his side’s play-off ambitions back on track after two consecutive away wins, Dover Athletic manager Andy Hessenthaler has called on all supporters to get behind the side again at home to Bromley on Saturday.
Dover followed up their 3-1 weekend success at Basingstoke with a 2-0 victory at Bishop’s Stortford on Tuesday to move back into joint fifth place in the Blue Square Conference South table with Bath City.
Hessenthaler felt his players had produced the perfect response after picking up only one point from their two previous home matches, which he felt had provoked unjustified criticism from some supporters.
He said: "We have all got to be in this together now if we are going to make the play-offs and the players need to feel the fans are right behind them.
"I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we are playing better away from home because the players are feeling under pressure in our home games.
"But although we haven’t won any of our last three games at Crabble, we have only lost twice in the last 10 league matches and a lot of teams would like to have that record going into the business end of the season."
Hessenthaler added: "We will be looking to carry that on against Bromley, so our football might perhaps not be as pleasing on the eye as our supporters have become used to but it’s a question of ‘needs must now’ as we try to get into the play-offs."
Hessenthaler will be hoping that Shaun Welford (knee) and Frannie Collin (groin) will be fit after having to be substituted on Tuesday night, but defender Danny Walder is out for three or four weeks with a calf strain.
