Appeal for witnesses after homeless man is robbed

Police are appealing for witnesses after a homeless man was attacked and robbed in Dover.
It happened between 9.15 and 9.40pm on Thursday when the 59-year-old man was walking in Dieu Stone Lane, near Maison Dieu Road.
He was approached by a man who asked for the time. The man then grabbed the victim’s jacket, forced him onto the ground and demanded money.
He stole a small quantity of cash from the victim’s pocket and walked off.
The suspect is described as a white man aged in his mid 20s with short dark hair, five feet seven inches tall and wearing a grey hooded top.
