Suspected amphetamine and cannabis found in raid in Walmer

Class A and B drugs have been seized after police found a suspected amphetamine factory.
Officers from Dover Community Policing Team, on patrol in the Church Street area of Walmer, received a report regarding suspicious activity at a property nearby.
They found a large amount of suspected amphetamine as well as a quantity of cannabis.
The officers also seized equipment and substances believed to be used in the production of class A drugs.
This happened on Wednesday afternoon.
A 51-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug and has since been released under investigation while enquiries into the property continue.
