Attempted 'child abduction' outside Sandown Primary School in Golf Road, Deal

Police have released an efit of a man following an attempted 'child abduction' near a primary school.
Officers were called to Golf Road in Deal at 3.20pm on Monday after reports of a man acting suspiciously.
He is said to have been seen walking alongside a child away from the area - understood to be the Key Stage 1 playground of Sandown Primary School.
When he was challenged by the child's mother he left.
The man is described as white, in his mid-40s, around 6ft tall, of stocky build and wearing an orange polo shirt and blue jeans.
Detective Inspector Tristan Hardiman said: "This was a busy time of day in the area and I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us with any information they may have."
Sandown Primary School has also sent a letter out to parents warning them of the incident which states the incident happened in the Key Stage 1 playground.
It says: "The school as always continues to put safeguarding at the heart of all that we do."
