Business owners on Alkham Valley Road have asked customers to ignore road closure signs despite police warnings.
Alkham Valley Garden Centre and Southern Equestrian Supplies are still trading and can be accessed via the Folkestone end of the road.
This comes after Kent Police warned residents not to ignore road closure signs for safety reasons.
Those travelling from River can also get to the garden and equestrian centre via Medgett Lane.
On Facebook the garden centre's page said: “Just to make it clear - there are signs saying ‘road closed’ by Patio Products in the Alkham Valley Road.
“However KCC has agreed to change the signs to say access to the Alkham Valley Garden Centre and Southern Equestrian Supplies - but this may take a day or three!
“The road is blocked in the village after the garden centre if you're coming from the Folkestone end.
“So please ignore the ‘road closed’ sign if you’re coming to the garden centre from Folkestone.”
The road was closed due to flooding and pot holes.
