A new scheme aims to raise awareness for parents and children who will be travelling during the dark winter months.
The Be Bright Be Seen campaign is for those who travel on foot and by bicycle and the dangers this can cause unless wearing bright, reflective clothing.
The campaign has been launched by the Kent County Council community wardens together with Dover town councillors who gathered at the Charlton shopping centre last week to hand out reflective coat tags, cycle lights, road safety booklets and good advice.
The community wardens will also be handing out light sticks at the Dover Discovery Centre and Market Square between 11am and 2pm tomorrow (Friday).
