A Volkswagen Golf was found alight in Friars Way, Dover, at 1.45 this morning.

Kent Police are looking into the incident, as a satnav is also missing from the vehicle.

A spokeswoman from Kent Police said: "We are investigating it as a suspicious fire.

"We appeal to anyone who could have been in the area at that time of the morning to come forward."
