Fire destroys caravans and power lines in Otterham Quay Lane, Rainham

Two caravans were destroyed in a fire in a country lane in Rainham last night.
Firefighters were called out at about 10.30pm to deal with the blaze in Otterham Quay Lane, which also damaged a power cable, fencing and a hedgerow.
Two crews from Medway used a high-pressure hose reel to put out the flames and stop it from spreading.
Nobody was injured and the cause is being investigated.
Watch manager Jim Ramsden, said,: "We managed to we get it under control within about half and hour."
UK Power engineers were also called out to check the supply.
