Cyclist hurt in hit and run crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a non-stop accident on the outskirts of Dover.

A vehicle, described as dark green, did not stop after the collision on the B2011 Dover to Folkestone road near Church Hougham at 7pm on Friday March 2.

The cyclist, a 38-year-old Folkestone man, received cuts and bruises as he fell off the bike and was taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford for a check up.

The cyclist was riding towards Dover and the vehicle being driven in the opposite direction. The weather was foggy.
