This is the dramatic moment Deal firefighters came to the rescue of a cocker spaniel who had fallen down a well in Tilmanstone.
Four-year-old Honey had escaped from her nearby home, finding herself in an overgrown paddock in Vicarage Lane.
Her owners could hear her cries, helping them to locate her and alert the emergency services.
One engine and a rope rescue team from Deal attended the scene at 1.30pm yesterday.
Crew manager Paul Evans said: "We lowered a crewman down in to the hole. We have got a special dog harness, which we clipped on to our crewman’s harness and pulled them up together.
"It was about 15 metres deep, so a bit of a fall for the little thing."
Crewman Craig Sheridan reunited Honey with her owners.
Mr Evans added: "As far as we know, she was okay - they were going to take her to the vets."
