Deal, yellow, take on Holcombe 3As in Kent Open Premier A on Saturday
Deal slipped to their first Kent Men’s Open Premier A defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to Holcombe 3As on Saturday.
A strong start from the home side was rewarded by a goal from George Phillips.
As the game wore on, however, Deal started to lose their shape and struggled to push forward.
Holcombe took the initiative and found an equaliser.
In the second half, the situation did not improve for Deal and few scoring chances came their way. Holcombe continued to capitalise on poor play by the home side and scored a second goal.
Following the setback, Deal now sit in mid-table. On Saturday they visit Sevenoaks 4ths .
