Deal rape arrest after 23 years

A man has been charged with a rape that took place in Kent in 1986.
Officers from Kent Police's Cold Case Investigation Team charged the man in connection with an incident involving an 18-year-old woman in Deal in February 1986.
Paul James Dyne, 44 from New Maldon, Surrey, was arrestedon Tuesday following a re-investigation into the offence in conjunction with the Forensic Science Service.
He was bailed to appear at Maidstone magistrates today - Wednesday.
