Deal Town hope for change of fortunes in FA Cup

Deal boss boss Derek Hares hopes his side bounce back from two away defeats when they host Sussex County side Ringmer in the FA Cup preliminary round at the Oatmor Harris Stadium on Saturday.
The East Sussex side are in the same league as Arundel, who Hares’ men beat 3-2 in the previous round, and with £1,500 available, it’s well worth winning. A home tie against Selsey or Epsom and Ewell beckons in the next round.
Hares said: "It’s a difficult but winnable, game. I have done a bit of homework on Ringmer and spoken to other managers who say they are a decent side.
"Herne Bay played well against us last week but with six players out, we were disjointed. I couldn’t fault the commitment and effort against Erith & Belvedere, either."
Injuries continue to blight Hares’ progress with Aaron Robinson, Shane Suter and Leon Ingram all sidelined for three months so far.
Robinson (thigh) has missed three weeks, Suter (knee ligaments) has been out for five while Ingram (ankle ligaments) has been sidelined for a month.
