Delays on the A258 Deal to Sandwich road after car and lorry crash

A crash involving a car and a lorry on the A258 near Mongeham is causing delays.
Police were called to the collision on the corner of Mongeham Road and the Deal to Sandwich Road at about 9am.
Officers remain at the scene while the vehicles await recovery.
Reports suggest traffic is backed up in both directions and large vehicles are struggling to pass through.
The number 13 and 13A Stagecoach buses are being redirected via Northbourne.
Press officer Natalie Hardy said: "A road traffic collision between a car and a lorry on Mongeham Road in Deal was reported to Kent Police on Tuesday, November 1 at around 9am.
"No injuries were reported. Officers are currently at the scene whilst the vehicles await recovery.
