A Dover woman, Karol Steele, will be appearing in two shows held at the White Cliffs Theatre and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
The 52-year-old actress has won the role of Mrs Samsa in an adaptation of the Kafka novella in Metamorphosis.
The narrative tells the story of a travelling salesman, Gregor Samsa, waking to find himself transformed into a large insect-like creature.
Audiences see Gregor try to deal with his new appearance.
The performances will take place on April 17 and 18.
Mrs Steele will then be making an appearance in the upcoming musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, produced by the Dover Operatic and Dramatic Society which will be performed at the White Cliffs Theatre in Astor Avenue from May 28 to 31.
