Dover gained their first win in six Blue Square South matches with two late goals against Lewes on New Year's Day.
Andy Hessenthaler's men had only taken three points from the last 15 available but they produced an improved second-half display to gain some revenge for the 6-2 Boxing Day mauling at Lewes.
Chances were few and far between in the first half with Sammy Moore's shot the closest Whites came to breaking the deadlock.
Adam Birchall, Nicky Southall and Shaun Welford all went close in the second half before Dover finally took the lead on 73 minutes. Birchall flicked on a corner and Olly Schulz, pictured, turned the ball home at the far post.
Schulz was then denied a second before Dover were awarded a penalty in the final minute for handball. Birchall sent the keeper the wrong way to seal a morale-boosting victory for Hessenthaler's men.
