Dover Athletic boss Andy Hessenthaler takes chance to rest squad

With his side still very much in the Blue Square South play-off race, Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler was grateful this week for a respite from the run-in.
Whites had no midweek fixture, which was just as well because Tuesday’s training was cancelled due to player injuries.
"If it wasn’t for the loan players we’ve brought in we would be down to the bare bones," said Hessenthaler (pictured), whose side beat Bromley 1-0 on Saturday.
Dover slipped to sixth after midweek results but Hessenthaler said: "We are right where I expected us to be at the start of the season, challenging for a play-off place."
Defenders Dean Hill (thigh) and Daniel Leach (Achilles) are doubtful for Saturday’s visit to St Albans. Whites are away to Hampton & Richmond on Tuesday.
