Proof of valid membership will be required. The permits will allow holders to park for up to four hours while they use the sports facilities. They can be used in Woolcomber Street or Townwall Street car parks in Dover, or Tides Leisure Centre car park in Deal.

DDC cabinet member for access and property management, Cllr Nigel Collor, said: “We are very pleased to launch these permits to help members of Dover and Tides Leisure Centres.

"The permits work out at £2.40 per week, which is good news for those who regularly use our car parks to enjoy the Leisure Centre facilities. DDC continues to promote health and well-being in our communities, and to encourage people to use the excellent facilities in the district.”

Permits are available from the DDC website at www.dover.gov.uk/parking or for more information, please call Parking Services on 01304 872459.
