A Dover man has been disqualified from driving for 18 months after pleading guilty to drink driving after being breathalised late last year.
Neil Dowling, 29, of Whitfield Avenue in Dover drove a Toyota Celica and was stopped in the Alkham Valley Road on November 23.
When stopped, Dowling was breathalised, producing 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Channel Magistrates disqualified Dowling from driving on January 6. He is now banned for 18 months and must pay a fine of £300.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
To reduce the time of his disqualification by 136 days, he must satisfactorily complete a course approved by the Secretary of State by December 19.
