Dover 45 Maidstone 3
Dover secured a fifth-place finish to end their first season in London 2 South on a high with a comfortable victory against Maidstone.
Maidstone took a deserved 14th-minute lead from a penalty but Ben Sedgwick crossed for a well-worked try which was converted by Blair Charge for the Sharks to take control.
Mick O’Donnell scored his first league try after 20 minutes, Ben Murray added a third and Martyn Beaumont (pictured right) scored an individual fourth before the break.
Beaumont got the fifth on 56 minutes before he and Ricky Mackintosh were shown yellow cards.
Mackintosh scored soon after his return to the fray and Jamie Phillips marked his last appearance for the club by racing 70 metres to the line after an interception.
Dover: Moore, Tomlinson, Cooper, Tonks D, Sluman, Collins, Foster (Hewer), McNamara (Vick), Murray, Beaumont, Phillips, O’Donnell, Sedgwick (Coughlan), Mackintosh, Charge.
