Dover girl Sonita Henry plays Colenel Meme in Doctor Who Christmas special

A Dover woman was seen in the Christmas episode of Doctor Who, the Mercury can reveal.
Sonita Henry, who attended Dover Girls Grammar School was seen on Christmas Day’s Doctor Who special.
The 36-year-old was born and bred in Dover, but often resides in America.
The episode, called The Time of the Doctor, saw Ms Henry play Colonel Meme, where the universes’ deadliest species are drawn to another planet following a peculiar message.
She tweeted: “Oh and if you’re watching it tomorrow keep an eye out for me in the Dr Who Christmas Special. “Blink and you may miss me!”
The actress has also been in other sci-fi blockbusters, such as Star Trek, The Fifth Element and Dead Space two and three.
She has also featured in a number of car, technology and fast food television adverts.
She tweeted in the run-up to Christmas, showing her excitement for the role she was playing in Doctor Who, claiming it was a long lived dream she’d always had.
She said: “Nice to see I made the Dr Who TV trailer! A tiny role but so much fun!”
