The potential of Deal’s Anna Pullen was given the seal of approval last week at the Lawn Tennis Association’s National Talent ID finals day.
The 10-year-old, who has recently been selected for the LTA’s AEGON FutureStars programme, was one of 113 youngsters invited to the session at the National Tennis Centre in London after she successfully progressed through county and regional talent days to make the final week.
Pullen (pictured) showed off her skills in front of the LTA talent team who were aiming to spot future performance players who could make an impact on the game.
The Eastry Primary School pupil said: "I love playing tennis so I was looking forward to coming here and showing the coaches what I can do.
"We did lots of drills and exercises. In the morning, we worked on our fitness and in the afternoon, we had a hit with the coaches."
