Firefighters called to large waste fire in Northwall Road, Deal

Fire crews were at the scene of a waste fire for more than 12 hours.
Firefighters were called to Northwall Road in Deal yesterday evening, just after 7pm following reports that a large amount of rubbish was alight.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene where crews extinguished the flames, before maintaining a watching brief overnight to make sure it did not reignite.
No injuries were reported and the cause is not yet known.
Crews left the scene just after 7:30am this morning.
