Young pianist George Palmer-Coyne will be among the musicians taking part in a concert to raise money for the East Africa Famine Appeal on Saturday.
George, who is 10 and is a pupil at St Faith’s School, in Ash, will be playing at the Food For Thought concert at the Beacon Church Hall in Bartholomew Street, Dover, which starts at 7.30pm.
Youngsters from Cross-Links on Buckland Estate will also be performing, signing to a well-known song, and presenting a couple of sketches.
“I hope people will come along and have a relaxing, enjoyable evening listening to traditional and newer music while raising money for a good cause,” said organiser Glenys Jeff.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children, including refreshments.
