Ghost tours are all part of the fun for visitors to Dover Castle.

But three members of staff got more than they bargained for while they were in the secret war-time tunnels below the castle on Saturday.

While the lights and power were off, they said they heard a ghost.

“It was definitely a man’s voice, but nobody else was down there,” one of them said on Twitter.

There are many stories about ghosts at the castle which was the subject of an investigation by the Most Haunted television team, led by Yvette Fielding some years ago.
