Goalkeepers express interest in joining Dover Athletic

Martin Hayes says he has been inundated with inquiries from goalkeepers wanting to join Dover Athletic next season following Ross Flitney’s almost-certain departure.
Flitney, who established himself as Whites’ first-choice keeper after being brought to the club by Andy Hessenthaler in January of last year, has rejected a new contract offer.
But Hayes (pictured) is unconcerned about the situation, not least because of the number of goalkeepers who are keen to replace the former Croydon Athletic man.
He said: "There must be a surplus of goalies out there because I am being inundated with calls from keepers who want to come and play for us.
"Until Ross signs for another club, or until I sign another keeper, the door is not completely closed in case he has a change of mind.
"I can only assume Ross is now weighing up offers from other clubs and it must be unlikely he will be playing for us next season.
"But I feel relaxed about the situation, as I do about the way the whole squad is shaping up and I expect to sign another goalie within the next week to 10 days."
