A Grade II listed building on Dover’s seafront is to go under the auctioneer’s hammer next month.
The auction, taking place at the Kent County Showground in Maidstone, will take place on February 10 at 11am.
Clive Emson, the land and property auctioneers will be auctioning off another 55 lots that are listed for sale.
The property, which is in East Cliff has been used as a bed and breakfast lodge, and the ground floor has been sold on a long lease.
Other floors in the building could be transformed into apartments, with permission granted beforehand.
From the building there are views across the Channel as well as parts of Marine Parade Bay.
It is being sold freehold with a guide price of £180-200,000.
Kevin Gilbert, auctioneer and a familiar figure on BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer, said: “This is a handsome seafront building with character and potential.
“It would suit conversion into apartments, but all permissions must first be obtained.”
