A £30,000 pot of money has been released under Deal Town Council's 2020-21 grants programme.
Grants are for local organisations, charities and community groups with the aim of creating a thriving town to live in, work and visit.
They will be evenly distributed over the following streams: £10,000 allocated to the usual annual grants with individual payments of up-to £1,000.
There is £10,000 allocated for special projects under the theme of emergency and recovery, with individual grants of up-to £2,000 each.
And £10,000 is allocated for community contributions with grants of up to £5,000 in special circumstances.
Applications for the first round closes at 5pm on Friday, September 4.
This pot of money is different from the £15,000 Emergency Grant Fund which consisted of grants of £2,000.
Deal Town Council's responsible Finance Officer Paul Bone said: "The Emergency fund is now all used up but the Special Projects stream can pick up any applications of that type under its theme of emergency and recovery."
He confirmed there are no restrictions on organisations who received the recent Emergency Grant Fund.
