Exhibitions, information and talks about making homes snug, as well as a chance to try a bicycle generator, are all on offer on Saturday at Deal’s Green Energy Fair.

With a theme to Let’s Energise Our Deal, the free event is at Deal Town Hall from 1pm until 4.30pm and the day has been organised by Deal With It.

There will be practical ‘how-to’ sessions on home insulation, advice on grants for insulation and information about solar power for the home and business. Talks will be given about microgeneration, following the changes to the feed-in-tariff, and on community generated energy schemes.
