Dunkerley's Hotel and Restaurant on Deal seafrfont will host a tea party today (Thursday) to raise money for the Demelza House children’s hospice.
The tea party, between 3.30 and 4.30pm, is part of the Go Dotty For Demelza campaign organised by the charity and kmfm, the radio branch of Mercury publisher the KM Group, and will be hosted by kmfm presenters Rob and Emma.
It is one of 10 tea parties taking place in 10 days. They started in Gillingham on Monday, and will also be in Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Sittingbourne and Maidstone until May 3. Entry is a minimum of £10, and includes live entertainment, tea and refreshments.
There is no need to pre-book - just turn up.
Natalie Tegg, Demelza’s head of partnerships said: “We need the help of Mercury readers to make it bigger and better than last year.”
