Further delays are in place as extreme winds cause more inconvenience.
While sailings are delayed, people are urged check in as normal, allowing extra time for their travels across the Channel.
Gale warnings were issued this morning by the Met Office, saying that the sea condition was rough and that south westerly gales will hit the coast.
A spokesman for the port said: “The safety of customers and staff is always our priority and we monitor weather warnings closely in order to ensure that systems are in place to minimise any disruption and delays to travellers."
The Port of Dover is regularly updating all online forums with regards to the change in weather.
