Taxi driver Nawzad Salih Hussein charged over death of Steven Perry in Shepherdswell crash

Police investigating a fatal road collision near Dover which claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy have charged a taxi driver with causing death by careless driving.
The collision between a Skoda Octavia taxi and an excavator occurred in the early hours of Friday 15 March on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 at Shepherdswell.
Steven Perry, a budding rugby player, died at the scene.
Nawzad Salih Hussein, 48, of Cassino Square, Burgoyne Heights, Dover was charged today.
He was released on bail to appear before Folkestone magistrates on Monday, October 28.
